THE SITE
The site is located eastern of the village of Višnjan village and comprises of a filed and is approximately 1.863 sqm in size. The site is a short ride from Višnjan which offers a selection of neighborhood amenities including village store, bakery, butcher shop, pizzeria, typical tavern, ATM, an ambulance and country pub.
LOCATION
Located in a hilltop, near the exit of the new Istrian highway “Y” that links Pula with Slovenian border. Višnjan is famous today in Istria and abroad for its planetarium and various related activities. In the streets of the old part of Višnjan you can experience the spirit of the rich historical heritage of this place. You can feel the preserved authenticity in the rich variety of traditional Istrian cuisine, quality wines of renowned winemakers, olive oil and many other local and ecological products, which you can taste in the comfortable surroundings of the wine cellars, pubs, restaurants, Michelin recommended taverns or agrotourism. The bicycle paths are connecting this area with Porec, coastal area of istria, central Istria and with attractive Baredine cave, located in half way between Visnjan and Porec. The beautiful surrounding areas are ideal for hiking and cycling - this way you can dive right into the Istrian landscape and get to intensively know the country and its people.
Probably the most famous cycling route that passes through this area is Parenzana. It is a former railway line which once connected Trieste and Porec, representing a „lifeblood“ of the Istrian economy and today makes a remarkable tourist attraction.
PLANNING
The local authority is council of Višnjan municipality. The part of the site is zoned as buildable land, while on the other part the construction is currently not granted. On the site are numerous trees and other low vegetation.
